Our research was conducted across the entire constituents of the FTSE-350 index. Our aim to investigate the current state of the Boardroom in the UK's top listed companies. It is intended to conduct this research on an ongoing annual basis to further allow us to establish trends in Board governance and structure.

FTSE 350 Board Review 2013

The reduction in FTSE-350 Board Sizes since the 2003 Higgs report has suggested a natural progression route from CFO to CEO. Research by Thorburn McAlister and the University of Southampton shows this talent pipeline is not as prevalent as widely perceived. Our research further demonstrates that promoting a COO internally makes good business sense both for earnings growth and market valuation.

INFORMS

Hello and welcome to the first issue of INFORMS, a newsletter which, we hope, gives a refreshingly frank look at the recruitment industry today. It presents an opportunity to raise issues which are of interest or concern, and to comment on any matter worth airing.
Who knows, by so doing we may find more effective ways to move our industry forward in a rapidly changing world.
